Overview :

Location : DHS Offices located at 3801 Nebraska Ave, Washington, DC or other offices within the National Capital Region (NCR).

Job Type : Full-Time

Annual Salary Range : $30 to $35 per hour

Security Clearance : Must possess a TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.

INTECON, LLC is seeking a data-driven Statistician to analyze internal control data, identify trends, and generate predictive insights for the DHS I&A's internal control framework. This role supports financial data analysis, risk forecasting, and control optimization.

Roles and Responsibilities :

The roles shall include:

• Gather, organize, and analyze financial and operational datasets.
• Identify trends and relationships in internal control data and compliance results.
• Summarize findings and present insights to senior Government stakeholders.
• Support development of predictive models to forecast audit findings and control gaps.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or a quantitative field.

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting statistical analysis in support of program or financial operations.

Preferred Certifications and Training :

• Advanced Excel, R, SAS, or Python for statistical modeling

Proficiency in:

• Statistical analysis, data interpretation, trend forecasting
• Reporting tools and quantitative dashboards

Security Clearance : Must possess and maintain a TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
