Position Type: Remote, must report onsite for key phases of the project (once per month) Contract Length: 6 months Position Overview:
The Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, SAP HCM, and OnBase. This role requires expertise in SuccessFactors Integration Center, SAP HCM, and third-party integration tools, with a strong ability to analyze business needs, configure standard integrations, and develop custom solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, experience with onboarding data transfers, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills: - Resource will need to report onsite once per month
- 5 years of SAP HCM experience and/or SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 experience
- 5 years of SuccessFactors Integration Center experience related to Onboarding 2.0 or SAP HCM
- Experience working with SuccessFactors APIs and integrating those using 3rd party integration systems like Informatica or SAP PO
- Experience transferring Onboarding data to an external HRIS system (specifically SAP ECC)
- Deep knowledge of SuccessFactors Onboarding processes
- Experience using integrations to send documents from SuccessFactors to a document management system like OnBase
- ServiceNow Experience in ITSM, Idea, Project, and Demand module
- ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 suite including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficient in Microsoft ADO Testing Module
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- The ability to communicate effectively with functional and technical team members
Preferred Skills: - SuccessFactors and/or SAP HCM certifications
- Experience working with SAP PO
- Experience with ABAP development
Duties: - Be assigned Request Items, Tasks, and Projects to complete in a self-directed and semi-independent manner.
- Ensure a mutual understanding of the request and the proposed approach/response between both the client and the Contractor before beginning work on a request.
- Coordinate and execute all development aspects including reports, integrations, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and creation, and enhancements.
- Document requirements, or user stories in detail within Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
- Perform technical functions that are within the scope of this position. These include, but are not limited to configuring, coding, testing, data loads, and scripting.
- Document the progress and other details relating to the work being performed within the appropriate system(s) of record.
- Perform and/or coordinate the Unit, System Integration, User Acceptance, and other testing following the client’s IT Quality Management Playbook (playbook to be provided upon start of work).
- Document and demonstrate changes (Showbacks) to stakeholders, as directed.
- Work with the system administration team to have the changes code and peer reviewed then implemented into PROD.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer on the changes. Plus provide guidance and support to the application support team, as needed, for troubleshooting issues or answering questions as directed by the client.
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
- Leads, and participates in project team activities for system work efforts related to enterprise systems.
- Ability to work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned.
- Adhere to the client's standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilizes various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties.
