Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop Software : Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications and microservices in both Java and Python.
• Code Optimization : Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of applications by writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to build solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging : Identify and resolve issues in existing code, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
• Integration : Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and other systems into the applications.
• Code Reviews : Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve the quality of code across the team.
• Documentation : Write technical documentation, including design, architecture, and user guides.
• Agile Development : Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development cycles.
• Security : Adhere to best practices for application security, including secure coding techniques and data protection.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Programming Experience : hands-on experience in developing applications using Java (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) and Python (Django, Flask, or other frameworks).
• Software Development : Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Web Development : Experience in building RESTful APIs and web services using both Java and Python.
• Databases : Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Version Control : Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Testing : Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) using tools like JUnit, pytest, or similar frameworks.
• Cloud Platforms : Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including serverless architecture and containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD : Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices, and tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
• Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think through complex technical challenges.
• Collaboration & Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microservices Architecture : Experience building and maintaining microservices-based applications.
• Frameworks : Familiarity with Java frameworks like Spring Boot, and Python frameworks like Flask or Django.
• Cloud-Native : Experience with building cloud-native applications and working with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Message Queues : Experience with message brokers and queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
• Agile Practices : Experience working in Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• CI/CD Pipelines : Advanced knowledge of setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Security Best Practices : Knowledge of secure coding practices and implementing security measures in web applications.
