We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of events that reflect the Nexmos Design brand and meet client expectations. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and eager to grow within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of event concepts and logistics

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal departments

  • Support the setup, operation, and breakdown of events

  • Monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met

  • Prepare materials, manage inventory, and handle shipments

  • Track expenses and help maintain budget accuracy

  • Provide on-site support during events

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and reports

Qualifications



Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communications, or related field preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in event coordination, administration, or customer service

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Flexible schedule and ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
