Your impact
Jacobs is looking for a CAD Designer to join our Life Sciences team in Indianapolis, IN. The CAD Designer will develop technical drawings from sketches or from general engineering and design information, while strictly adhering to all client drawing standards and drawing procedures. Drawings will be created/modified using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and REVIT, as well as client drawing management software. After making a draft, you will submit them for approval and make any necessary revisions. Applicants should have a technical background in drafting design and experience with CAD software, like AutoCAD and REVIT. Experience using Navisworks or Revizto is also a plus.
CAD Designer Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop technical drawings using CAD software
- Make revisions and obtain client approvals
- Proficiency using client drawing management software
- Check drawings with consideration for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client drawing standards and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members, both internally and externally, to understand scope of work

The base salary range for this position is $43,300.00 to $65,450.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
