We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer 2 to join our CenterWell - Primary Care Organization (PCO) Analytics Team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reports for various teams within the PCO, building positive relationships with customers to foster trust, and designing reports for the user experience (UX).

This Business Intelligence Engineer 2 requires the ability to work independently, gather and analyze requirements from business partners and delivery high-quality Business Intelligence Solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on user experience (UX)

• Meet with report requestors to understand their needs and requirements, design prototypes using Figma or other wireframing tools, and conduct user testing

• Optimize and maintain Snowflake SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency

• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and other business intelligence tools

• Document processes, technical designs, and report configurations

• Collaborate within the team and outside of the team to build and maintain strong relationships

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field

• 1-3 years using SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and query tuning

• Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, for developing and maintaining data visualization, reporting and dashboards

• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and provide solutions for business or data issues

• Strong communication skills

• Skilled at building and maintaining relationships

• Curiosity and highly motivated to learn new tools and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science or related field

• Previous experience with data visualization: Tableau, Qlikview, SSRS, or other similar technologies

• Experience in Python or other object-oriented programming language

• Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors

• Experience with wireframing tools for prototyping, such as Figma

• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate regarding workflows and process automation

Interview Format: MODERN HIRE

As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by Modern Hire, a third-party vendor. This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making.

If you are selected to move forward from your application prescreen, you will receive correspondence inviting you to participate in a pre-recorded Voice Interview and/or an SMS Text Messaging interview. If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$66,800 - $91,100 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
