Job Description

Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer
Location: [USA "Remote"]

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using best practices.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, cost-optimized, and compliant with company standards.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to streamline application deployment.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability setups.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of networking, security groups, IAM roles, and cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like CloudWatch, ELK, or Prometheus.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Nice to Have

• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of other cloud providers (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
